(Reading and Writing) in Junior Secondary Schools
由2013年起,本計劃得到優質教育基金資助,由香港教育大學推行為全港中學而設的各種讀寫策略及支援。現時,普遍中學教師發現學生在學習不同語文時,總遇上不少困難。為了支援中學教師及學生,本計劃從學校交流丶改進已發展的教材丶研發電子互動教材等多方面著手,盼能為教師提供聯校的教學資源,讓學生掌握有效的讀寫策略,幫助學生更輕鬆丶有效地學習。
本計劃建立了「學校圈」,目的為提升教師對教導有特殊教育需要的學生的知識及技巧,發展教材供教師使用。我們希望能藉此推動全港學校互相合作,交流支援學生的心得。而「學校圈」由全港數十間中學組成,分為核心學校和參與學校。由2013年開始參與計劃的定期會議。在計劃期間,香港教育大學作為統籌,協助學校每年舉行十星期試教,並安排「學校圈」的成員互相觀課及教學討論。
此外,本計劃嘗試改進已發展的教材,將已發展的教材電子化,方便教師隨時隨地運用已有教材作參考及教學。同時,本計劃發展中、英文的網上學習平台,提供教學丶遊戲及應用練習,讓學生可在課堂外溫習。本計劃盼望以上各項活動可提升學生學習語文的興趣丶鞏固學習知識及促進學生語文自學能力。

- 根據個人資料(私隱)條例,讀寫策略︰發展網絡計劃(初中)(下稱"本計劃")承諾在收集、使用、保留、保安、傳送網頁使用者之個人資料及學校資料時是絕對保密。本計劃會以合法及公平方式收集個人資料及學校資料,所得資料將會用作教學研究用途。本計劃在合理及可行的情況下確保所收集之個人資料及學校資料是準確無誤,並不會被非授權人士或意外地被進入、處理、刪除或作其他用途。在未得到網頁使用者同意,本計劃絕不會向外披露任何個人資料及學校資料;只有本計劃授權職員方能使用。

Intellectual Property Rights Policy
Acceptance of our Terms
By visiting this website, viewing, accessing or otherwise using any of the services or information created, collected, compiled or submitted to this website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions of Service. QEF Intellectual Property Rights Policy
- The contents, the deliverables and the products developed from all projects sponsored by the Quality Education Fund (“QEF”), including but not limited to all texts, graphics, drawings, diagrams, photographs, audio and video recordings and compilation of data or other materials (collectively, the “Products”) are protected by intellectual property rights. Unless otherwise indicated, the Permanent Secretary for Education Incorporated (“PSEdI”) is the owner of the copyright and other intellectual property rights (collectively, the “Intellectual Property Rights”) in the Products.
- To facilitate a wider dissemination of good education practices, the PSEdI would have no objection to, subject to paragraph 3 below, user's usage of the Products1, provided that:
(a) those works are duly acknowledged to be developed from grants under the QEF;
(b) where users are to copy and disseminate the copyright works in the Products,
they shall copy those works accurately from the official version in full which contains all relevant acknowledgment of the identities of any authors and/or directors of the Products, and shall not adjust or modify those works without the consent of the relevant authors and/or directors. In addition, the users shall not reproduce or disseminate the copyright works in the Products in a misleading or derogatory manner; and
(c) the above usage is for educational and non-commercial purposes.

Where applicable, the Products may include a notice that third party Intellectual Property Rights and/or performers’ rights, may be involved in the Products. In such case, users shall seek authorisation and obtain all relevant consent and clearance from the third party Intellectual Property Rights owner(s) and/or relevant performer(s) prior to the usage referred to in paragraph 2 above.

Any reproduction, adaptation, distribution, dissemination or making available of the Products to the public for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent has been obtained from the PSEdI. Such requests should be addressed o the QEF Secretariat in writing.
(a) Application procedure
The applicant shall submit a written request outlining the (i) purpose; (ii) implementation details; (iii) dissemination plan; and (iv) proposed amount of license fee or royalty and justifications.
(b) Assessment criteria
The QEF Secretariat shall vet the application based on: (i) applicant’s capability; (ii) feasibility of the implementation plan; (iii) any impact on the education sector; and (iv) any other factors which the QEF Secretariat deems fit.

As an incentive to encourage cross-sector participation in QEF applications and redevelopment, a designated period of one year can be granted to the grantee of the QEF or a third party an exclusive right to explore the redevelopment potential of the Products. Once the Products which have undergone redevelopment (the “Redeveloped Products”) are launched into the market, a reasonable license fee or royalty will be charged in accordance with the scope and potential of the Redeveloped Products. A written request should be sent to the QEF Secretariat for seeking such exclusive right. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the PSEdI shall remain to be the Intellectual Property Rights owner of the Redeveloped Products.
- No assurance or warranty, whether express or implied, is given as to the completeness or accuracy of this Policy and the contents and information regarding the Products and the Redeveloped Products. Neither the PSEdI nor any of the QEF’s officers, agents or advisors accepts any liability or responsibility as to, or in relation to, the adequacy, accuracy or completeness of the information contained in this Policy and the contents and information regarding the Products and the Redeveloped Products. Any liability in respect of any such information or any inaccuracy in, or any reliance on, this Policy, the contents and information regarding the Products or the Redeveloped Products, or omission from this Policy or the contents and information regarding the Products or the Redeveloped Products, is expressly disclaimed.
Usage of the Products means the reproduction, adaptation, distribution and dissemination of the Products.
